1. Glass Vials

Wheaton;180; low potassium borosilicate glass (meets the standards of ASTM Class I Type A and USP Type I). Vials are placed into single cells in trays of 100.

Vials are shrink-wrapped in plastic, 5 trays are enclosed in a box.  Screw caps size 22-400 is made from Urea with Poly-seal cone liner. Caps are packed separately in polyethylene bags of 100mm. Vial measurements are 28mm in diameter x 57mm in height (with cap off) and 61mm in height (with cap on).

2. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Vials

Opaque, high-density polyethylene vials are affordably priced. They have a capacity of 20ml and measure a diameter of 27mm x 61mm height (with cap). The screw caps are 22-400 and have been made of polypropylene with a rigid polyethylene lining. Vials and caps are sold in the same way as glass vials.

3. Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)

PET plastic vials provide a mix of previously unavailable features in a counting vial for optimal laboratory results. Incineration is used to ensure safe disposal. Incineration is used to ensure safe disposal. No harmful gas (only CO2 and H2O is produced) is created. Such vials are lightweight, almost unbreakable and have glass clarity.

PET vials also provide low solvent permeability and low background count. These vials contain 20ml of liquid and have a diameter of 27mm and a height of 61mm (with cap on). The screw caps are 22-400 and are made from polypropylene with a foamed polyethylene liner. The vials and the caps are packaged separately.
