Static Line II ioniser
The Static Line II ioniser is an antistatic device which emits negative and positive ions, neutralising the electrostatic charging in the cryochamber.
The sections no longer stick to the knife edge, or bunch up one on top of the other, but float in a nice ribbon over the knife surface. The pickup of the sections can be done easily. The Static Line II ioniser is recommended for trimming, sectioning and section collection.

The Static Line II consists of a high voltage power pack, an ioniser electrode which is connected to the power pack by a cable, and a testing device, the MULTI CHECK.
A dial on the power pack allows for adjustment of the voltage. The correct ion emission can be achieved by turning the variable voltage dial.
