Material
SA - Low carbon chemical austenitic steel, non-magnetic, generally used where corrosion resistance and toughness are primary requirements.
AXAL - Made of high cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy. High Vickers hardness, 100% antimagnetic and acid resistant, long lasting durability and are practically wearproof. (These tweezers are a direct replacement for the discontinued Taxal line).
DURAX - Specially hardened chrome-magnesium steel used in the manufacture of surgical instruments. Viskers hardness of 616HV, the tip of Rubis DURAX TM tweezers is six times harder than the tip of a standard steel tweezers.
Ceramic ZTA - Zirconia Toughened Alumina (ZTA). Non-porous. Superior of hardness, corrosion, heat resistance (up to 1000C) and insulation. Break durability and high flexural quality. Offers a hard surface with good abrasion and wear protection. Incredible thermal properties and high temperature dependability. Can be sterilised.
Finish
Nano - Nanotechnology coating closes even the smallest of pores on the surface of the tweezers. The Lotus effect repels dirt, oil, water and different fluids.
Ion - Special coating that discharges silver particles which acts as an anti-bacterial agent to avoid contamination of germs and pathogens. The use of ion technology does not give rise to any resistance for a hazard free technique for ensuring cleanliness.
Grip - A delicate covering for a non-slip hold that enhances the handling of the tweezer. The covering prevents hand weakness, and shields the hand from warmth and cold.
