Potassium dichromate (DG)
Potassium dichromate is a strong, orange-red oxidising agent primarily used in industrial leather tanning, photography (gum bichromate printing), and for hardening gelatin. It is widely used in chemical laboratories to analyse alcohols, in electroplating, and as a corrosion inhibitor.
