These tools are intended for anyone working with a microscope, handling specimens, or using miniature applications. The smallest known precision instruments for use in the microelectronics and laboratory industries are called micro-tools. There are 32 distinct tip configurations and interchangeable handles for Micro-Tools. The Micro-Tool is made up of an interchangeable threaded base with a tool tip and a threaded handle (MT1). Unless otherwise specified, the tip material is hardened tool steel.
