Harris' Haematoxylin solution is a prepared, ready-to-use, high quality staining solution that saves time and effort and produces consistent uniform results. It is used to selectivity stain for nuclei, fat, and lipids.
Stain used for:
- Harris' Haematoxylin (1900) for Nuclei.
- Jones Method for Kidney, Silver Method for the staining of basement membranes, reticulum fibres, collagen, and nuclei.
- Wilder Modification of Bielschowsky's Method for staining of Collagen and reticulum.
- McManus' Method (PAS) for Glycogen, McManus (1948).
- Oil Red in Propylene Glycol Method
- Herxheimer's Technique for staining fat and cholesterol.
- Combined Haematoxylin and Eosin/Methenamine Silver Stain for the fungi in tissue Sections.
- Genta, Robason and Graham Stain for H-pylori & Gastric Morphology
- Gridley's Method for Endamoeba Histolytica. For bacteria stain: Amoebae, their nuclei and ingested erythrocytes.
- Taylor's Method for Gram Positive and Gram Negative Bacteria.
