Gel-Box clear, AD series (EMS)

Gel-Pak's Gel-Box is comprised of a plastic hinged box with non-silicone gel or Vertec elastomer applied directly to the bottom. These versatile "pocketless" carriers immobilise devices during shipping, handling and processing. Devices are held once contact is made with the GEL surface and will stay in place, even if the carrier is tilted or jarred.

The Gel-Box Carriers may also be used for bare die handling, such as GaAs, PETs, laser diodes, and beam-lead devices where the die size is small (less than 1mm) and tweezers or other specialised techniques are used for off-handling.

Features:

• No need for custom-moulded containers for each device size.
• Ideal for handling subassemblies, hybrid models and packaged devices.
• Available in Transparent, Conductive and Anti-Static carriers in multiple sizes.
• Standard retention level X3 or X4 (Retention Level available: X0, X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, and X8, the higher the number the more retention capability)

Also available with printed grid patterns (shown) , or custom such as company logo can be made on request. 

Materials:

• Clear Styrene Box for non ESD sensitive parts (most economical solution)
• Conductive black polycarbonate (optimum protection against static discharges)
• Clear Anti-Static plastic (optimum visibility)
• Clear Anti-Static top with conductive plastic bottom (optimum for ESD safe protection and visibility)
