Gatan 3D SEM specimen mounts, pin mount
The Gatan 3D SEM specimen mounts are special sample mounts are manufactured from vacuum grade aluminium and used by Gatan 3D View System devices. These pin mounts are used within SEMs through serial slicing and BSD imaging to construct 3D image data from samples. The sample pins are offered with two sample areas:
Sizes:
- Standard 1.4mm flat sample area
- Larger 2.4mm flat sample area
- 2mm pin, 3mm head with cone top and 12.5mm total height
