PEHANON pH test strips

Features

• The indicator and colour scale are combined on a single pH paper strip for fast, convenient and accurate reading of pH value.
• No need to compare colour against a separate scale.
• Enables pH measurements of coloured solutions and suspensions, as the colour of the test solution is the same as in the indicator field.
• PEHANON covers the whole range of pHs from 0 to 12, with an all-round strip and thirteen narrow ranges that overlap, giving a comprehensive choice to suit every application.
• The indicator area (unprinted area) is in the middle of the band, the above and below comparison fields. For around three seconds, the strip is submerged into the solution so that all coloured areas are moistened. In accordance with the pH-value of the solution the centre field changes colour and is then compared to the coloured fields with the matching pH-value.
• An unseen hydrophobic barrier just above the top colour field prevents the capillary activity of the test solution beyond this point and does not cause the fingers to come in contact with corrosive, toxic or otherwise noxious liquids.
