NIGHTSEA Dino-Lite digital microscopes fluorescence viewing systems

The NIGHTSEA Model SFA Stereo Microscope Fluorescence Adapter can be used with the Dino-Lite series of digital microscopes.

While Dino-Lite does provide fluorescence versions, in certain circumstances you could achieve improved outcomes by utilising SFA excitation light sources when combined with matching barrier filters pre-mounted in a Dino-Lite endcap and simply clipping onto the front of the microscope.

Considering the Dino-Lite does not have a place for attaching a filter shield, the SFA system for Dino-Lite will include a pair of barrier filter glasses for each wavelength bought.

Included in one-colour complete system:

• Gooseneck lamp base with power supply
• Light head
• Matching snap-on barrier filter
• Barrier-filter glasses

All packed in a convenient padded travel case. You can add additional modular excitation/emission wavelength sets at any time. These contain a light head, matching snap-on barrier filter, and barrier filter glasses.

Wavelength sets

Wavelength sets are named and colour coded for the colour of the excitation light, not the colour of the emitted fluorescence.

With the Royal Blue (RB) excitation we offer two barrier filters - longpass and bandpass. Read our Technical Data Sheet above on selecting the right passband option for your application.
