Stain-'N'-temp slide
This slide is often used as an aid in programming a microwave oven to reach a main target temperature for volumes of 20-100µl staining. During staining of tissue sections on electron microscope grids, the tool is designed to give descriptive temperature measurements about droplets.
This unit is a 4-well Teflon-coated (PTFE) glass slide, each well 8 mm in diameter will keep the droplets uniform thickness; 4 fluid crystal temperature strips varying from 35 to 50°C is attached to each well to monitor the temperature of the microwave oven.
