Lab-Tek system chamber slides

Chamber slides combine a chambered super-structure that incorporates media with a regular soda lime glass slide or Permanox plastic slide, locking the two together with a biologically inert silicone gasket. Chamber and gasket are easily extracted after cells have grown.

Then the slide can be fixed, stained, coverslipped and recorded with the usual simplicity. Once fixed and stained, these slides can be embedded using our slide duplicating mould (Cat. 70170).

Permanox is a specific sculpting resin that meets the increasing requirements of many anchorage-dependent cells; for EM and other methods, superior chemical resistance also enables the cell binding and staining of organic  solvents.  The low oxygen permeation makes Permanox  suitable for the growth of anoxic cells.
