To make your microscopy work easier and to save you a great deal of time we offer you a complete line. All of our coated grids are optically checked followed by batch testing in the EM. Packed in grid storage box. Formvar/Carbon Film on London Finder Grids
A formvar coated grid, stabilised with evaporated carbon film. This type of coating is excellent for specimen support, especially for ultra thin sections. The thickness range is as follows:
Standard Option A: 10nm Formvar and 1nm Carbon
Standard Option B: 10nm Formvar and 3-4nm Carbon
Standard Option C: 10nm Formvar and 20-30 nm Carbon
Ultrathin Option A (UT): 5-6nm Formvar and 1nm Carbon
Ultrathin Option B (UT): 5-6nm Formvar and 3-4 nm Carbon
Ultrathin Option C (UT): 5-6nm Formvar and 20-30nm Carbon
Thick Option A (TH): 15-20nm Formvar and 1nm Carbon
Thick Option B (TH): 15-20nm Formvar and 3-4nm Carbon
Thick Option C (TH): 15-20nm Formvar and 20-30nm Carbon
Extra Thick Option A (ET): 25-50nm Formvar and 1nm Carbon
Extra Thick Option B (ET): 25-50nm Formvar and 3-4nm Carbon
Extra Thick Option C (ET): 25-50nm Formvar and 20-30nm Carbon
