Spearlab cryo foam dewars (EMS)
These foam dewars are safer, longer lasting, and have better insulating characteristics than stainless or glass for a fraction of the cost.
Foam dewars are insulated with fine closed cell foam, which is chemically inert and mechanically robust enough to withstand direct exposure to liquid nitrogen without leaking or deteriorating.
In addition, because of their reduced thermal mass, foam containers produce less liquid nitrogen when filled and collect less frost. As a consequence, less liquid nitrogen is required.
All vessels feature a foam lid.
