Technovit 2000 LC liquid
Because it uses cold blue light to cure specimens, light-curing is the most protective method of preparing specimens for further preparation. The curing temperature is approximately 90°C and can be lowered to 50°C with the help of a radiation program using the Technotray unit. Light-curing is much colder than "traditional" cold embedding systems. The low polymerisation temperature and the high transparency of Heraeus Kulzer light-curing resins are indispensable, particularly for the examination or the preparation of sensitive micro-parts and temperature-sensitive materials.
