- Gridley's Method for Endamoeba Histolytica. For bacteria stain: Amoebae, their nuclei and ingested erythrocytes.
- McManus' Method (PAS) for Glycogen, McManus (1948).
- Jones Method for Kidney for the staining of basement membranes, reticulum fibres, collagen and nuclei.
