Conductive carbon/graphite paint, SEM adhesive 154 (DG)
Graphite Conductive Adhesive 154 is a graphite dry film lubricant that provides a clean, long-lasting lubrication without alteration of the dimensions of the component. This product requires simple surface preparation and can be applied to the majority of substrates with the use of spray, brush, or dip techniques. The carbon/graphite mixture is designed to provide high lubricity, conductivity, and excellent release properties to many non-conductive substrates, including most plastics. It is made from a dispersion of colloidal graphite in an isopropanol base which quickly air-dries, forming a uniform thin film adherent layer. Please note that it is thixotropic in nature and has the tendency to gel on standing. Preparation includes thorough agitation, then dilution with isopropanol to yield the required consistency for the application of choice. Diluted Graphite Conductive Adhesive 154 may be applied with the use of a spray, brush, dip, or roller. We do recommend using a spray, as it yields the most uniform coverage.
Air dries to touch in 5 minutes and is ready for use in 30 minutes. After air drying, bake for 5 minutes at 75°C to achieve optimum coating qualities in a shorter curing cycle.
