AFM Gold coated metal specimen discs

AFM discs made of 1µm gold-plated magnetic stainless steel. They have smooth edges and progressively flat surfaces to obtain reasonable handling. Samples can be installed directly on the metal discs using double-sided tape, epoxy or conductive paste. The mica discs can be easily positioned on the metal support discs if the assistance for the mica specimen is required.

These discs give excellent resistance to electromigration, high thermal and electrical conductivity and elevated heat which make them especially good mounting substrates.

Packaged in a polystyrene disc storage box.

Store at room temperature
