Description
Lab-Sorb converts liquid waste to solid waste for easy disposal. This mineral-based absorbent rapidly converts liquids to solids in seconds, providing a safe, convenient solution for handling laboratory waste. Lab-Sorb granules can rapidly absorb aqueous or mixed aqueous and organic solvent waste, making it ideal for general spill control and liquid waste solidification.
Convenient – Includes extra-durable disposal bags, super-absorbent Lab-Sorb granules, and a convenient graduated scoop.
Prevents spills – Reduces the chance of accidental liquid waste spills; if they occur, Lab-Sorb safely contains them during cleanup.*
Quick – Converts liquids to solids in seconds for safe disposal.
Adaptable – Suitable for any liquid volume including 500 mL, 600 mL, 1 L, and 2 L vessels; one 454 g jar can absorb up to 50 L of liquid.
Versatile – Absorbs aqueous or mixed aqueous/organic solvent waste.

Alcohols (ethanol, isopropanol, methanol)
Mild acids and bases (non-oxidising)

Not suitable for:
Strong oxidising acids (e.g. nitric, perchloric)
